The Charter Township of Kalamazoo encompasses a wide variety of physical resources and landscape features. The quality and quantity of these natural attributes is a determining factor in the types or recreational patterns and land uses found in the neighborhoods

Signs Are Up at Three Township Parks


Thanks go to Fire Chief Obreiter and our maintenance staff, Mike Major and John VandeGiesen for putting up signs at three of our parks that have not had signs before and special thanks go to Trustee Steve Leuty who has worked tirelessly on development of our new logo and getting the new signs printed and installed.

Volunteers Give Lakewood Park Gazebo a Facelift

Fire Chief David Obreiter, Battalion Chief Jairus Baird and Firefighter Chad Baker are volunteering their time and tools to replace the roof and fascia on the gazebo in Lakewood Park on the corner of Lake and Olmstead. As if fighting fires wasn't enough, THANK YOU, for all you do for your community.
