In response to the severe storm that struck the Charter Township of Kalamazoo on May 15, 2025, causing widespread tree damage, downed power lines, and blocked roadways, the Township Board swiftly and unanimously approved emergency funding for storm debris cleanup efforts.

On June 2, 2025, curbside brush pickup will commence across affected areas. Residents are asked to place manageable brush near the roadside.
