In our newsletter there was a mistake with the wording on Recreational Fires: The sentence that reads. Fire needs to be 25 feet within any structure. What was meant to say is fires need to be 25 feet away from any structure.   The Master plan for 2023  is on the Planning Zoning page for public participation.

The Planning Commission is comprised of seven members who are appointed to a three-year term. The Planning Commission is the township body that is created through the authority of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act to make, adopt, extend, add to, or otherwise amend and carry out plans for the  Kalamazoo township.
