NOTICE OF PERMANENT ELECTION PRECINCT CHANGES
KALAMAZOO CHARTER TOWNSHIP
KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MICHIGAN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Charter Township of Kalamazoo Election Commission has approved a permanent consolidation and reorganization of the Township’s election precincts.
Pursuant to this action, the Township’s ten (10) election precincts have been consolidated into the following six (6) permanent precincts and polling locations:
Precinct 1
Lakewood Fire Station
3100 Lake Street
Precinct 2
Northwood Fire Station
2617 North Burdick Street
Precinct 3
Community Presbyterian Church
811 Gorham Lane
Precinct 4
Westwood Fire Station
1310 Nichols Road
Precinct 5
Eastwood Library
1112 Gayle Avenue
Precinct 6
Eastwood Fire Station
2703 East Main Street
PLEASE FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that some voters may have a new precinct number, a new polling location, or both. As required by Michigan Election Law, voters affected by changes to precinct boundaries or precinct numbering will receive a postcard by mail containing an updated voter identification card.
All voters are encouraged to verify their current precinct number and polling location by visiting www.michigan.gov/vote.
An updated precinct map is available on the Charter Township of Kalamazoo website at www.ktwp.org. Maps of individual precincts are also available on the Kalamazoo County website at https://www.kalcounty.gov/697/Kalamazoo-Township.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if a voter’s polling location has not changed, the voter’s precinct number may have changed.
