Scheid Park

Since the approximately one acre parcel was donated to the township in 1943, neighborhood children enjoyed passive recreational opportunities in the undeveloped land. In late 2012, neighbors and the township developed a management plan, which outlined the continued passive use of the property. In 2013, neighborhood-lead work sessions cleared many of the non-native trees and shrubs and began developing a walking trail with a bench along the trail at a scenic overlook.
