ALEK YARBROUGH was found safe. Thank you to all who assisted in locating him.

DATE REPORTED:  Tuesday, October 1, 2024

LOCATION OCCURRED:  1900 block of Elkerton Avenue

INCIDENT SUMMARY: The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating ALEK YARBROUGH.  ALEK was reported missing by family, and was last seen on Monday, September 30, 2024.  He is a 19-year-old black male, 5’10”, 175 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. ALEK was wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans and red, white and black Nike shoes. Family said ALEK did not leave with his medication and as a result could be in an altered state.

Anyone with information on ALEK’S whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Township of Kalamazoo Police Department / Kalamazoo County Consolidated Dispatch at (269) 488-8911.
