The Charter Township of Kalamazoo offers small, neighborhood-based parks as well as a 9-hole golf course

Signs Are Up at Three Township Parks


Thanks go to Fire Chief Obreiter and our maintenance staff, Mike Major and John VandeGiesen for putting up signs at three of our parks that have not had signs before (2018) and for installing new playground equipment in Stroud Family Park (May 2017).

Volunteers Give Lakewood Park Gazebo a FaceliftFire Chief David Obreiter, Battalion Chief Jairus Baird and Firefighter Chad Baker are volunteering their time and tools to replace the roof and fascia on the gazebo in Lakewood Park on the corner of Lake and Olmstead. As if fighting fires wasn't enough, THANK YOU, for all you do for your community.
